The Kessenyan Singers

Cornish TartanThe Kessenyan Singers have carved out an unique place in the singing traditions of Cornwall. We are a mixed choir of about 35 people, performing a varied repertoire of traditional and popular music, both secular and spiritual. Our aim is to live up to our name, which is the Cornish for “harmony”.

Based in Torpoint in South East Cornwall, the choir is  known not only for their singing, but also for their distinctive uniforms. The men wear Cornish tartan kilts with black jackets and the ladies attractive long, green dresses with a tartan sash..

We meet at 7.15pm on Tuesdays  at the Cornerstone Church, Fore Street, Torpoint. New members are always welcome. Just come along to one of our practices or get in touch to find out more!about usweddings
